Phew! You’ve picked out the crib and bedding, dresser and changing table; the rug and window treatments have been ordered; and you’ve finally settled on your wall color. You’re feeling really good about the direction your nursery’s décor is heading. Now it’s time for the most fun part of all – the creative finishing touches that will truly personalize your baby’s special room.
Decorating walls with words, phrases, and quotes has been a huge trend throughout the home for several years, but when using letters in your nursery, you can really let your imagination and self expression take flight. Anything as simple as your baby’s name on the wall to your favorite passages from nursery rhymes, children’s books, lullabies, prayers – you name it – the possibilities are endless. And let’s be honest, when it comes to nurseries, is there any such thing as over-the-top?
Twelve Timbers Inspiration
USA Baby proudly carries Twelve Timbers products because they offer some of the cutest, most fun, and versatile ways to personalize your nursery. Their wooden letters (pictured below from left to right) come in rustic, funky, big bright, and XXL styles; plus they’re available in 5.5″ size, as well as in 10.5″ (monogram) size.
But Twelve Timbers offers much more than just wooden letters. Adorable letter blocks in a variety of styles (Pattern Blocks shown below); alphabet banners; darling wooden chandeliers in a number of fun colors; custom-worded signs personalized in your color and font choice; shelves in various sizes and colors; wall words in your preferred color and style; and so much more:
One of our favorite Twelve Timbers products is their do-it-yourself wall writing kit. As their website describes, “It’s quick and easy. Just place onto your wall, furniture, door, window, or wherever you want that hand-painted look. Lightly rub, and “wall-la” you have an inexpensive way to achieve that custom look every home deserves.” Available in uppercase and lowercase – and in more than 50 fonts and 30 colors – use the applicator tool to decorate your nursery walls with your most beloved passages from nursery rhymes, fairy tales, children’s books, lullabies, prayers, or whatever moves you, as the following examples show:

Denise
Dear Denise, I wanted to thank you for displaying one of my bed crowns. The bed crown in the photo with the black tree on the wall and the blue bedding was for a boy named Kylar. They used his last name initial which was “Y” on the crown. It is so nice that women are allowing themselves the freedom to decorate for infant boys more like in Europe where a little prince’s room decor did not need to be sports or farm trucks. I am having more and more bed crowns ordered for baby boys and I am in the process of designing a bed crown that will resemble a knight’s coat of arms with a place for the boys name like “Sir James”. Thanks again for including my bed crown as a way to personalize a nursery. Dee of Princess Canopy Shop on Etsy
